Le Maitai Polynesia has some fantastic areas to sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings. There are also two great restaurants on site. Our friendly staff can mix you a fantastic drink or advise you on a great wine to accompany your meal.

Haere Mai Restaurant
Enjoy an eclectic mix of French cuisine and Polynesian flavors, brought to your table by our friendly and professional staff. Haere Mai means ‘Come’ in Tahitian, and the restaurant’s atmosphere is romantic and most welcoming.
Depending on the time of the year and usually on Wednesday’s, you can enjoy a fantastic Polynesian Evening at the Haere Mai Restaurant. This entertaining programme includes a delicious Polynesian BBQ and Seafood buffet and an exciting show with fire dancers and other traditional Polynesian attractions. This... is not to be missed!
To give you a quick taste from our menu: Lobster stew or fish pate with herbs as a starter, grilled swordfish steak and pineapple sauce or pasta with scallops as a main course, then mango & white cheese parfait or chocolate cake for desert.
You can also choose from a range of soups and salads, or enjoy our succulent meat dishes including veal, lamb and duck. A children’s menu is available. Opening hours: 6.45pm (18.45) – 09.00pm (21.00) – every day.

Tama’a Maitai
The restaurant faces the beach and the amazing lagoon is only a few steps away. Tama’a Maitai, meaning “bon appétit”, is open non-stop from b11.30 am through to dinner. The restaurant is built in Fare Potee - style (a French Polynesian Chief’s house or community meeting place). It has been built using traditional materials like aito wood and has a thatched pandanus roof and an open kitchen.
The ambience is relaxed and casual, and the menu comprises snacks, pizzas, fantastic burgers as well as fresh seafood and other more sophisticated specialties for your dinner. For example, raw tuna marinated with coconut milk, mahi-mahi fish burgers, T-Bone steak with garlic and lemon butter and coconut crème brulée or profiteroles with caramel or chocolate for dessert.

Manuia Bar
The setting of our Manuia Bar is atmospheric, authentic, tasteful and relaxed. Regular live music and Happy Hour can be enjoyed here and the bar is surrounded by flourishing gardens.
It’s a great place to relax and unwind or to have a chat with fellow travelers while enjoying an exotic cocktail, refreshing local beers or a fine wine. There is a beach bar to enjoy during the day at the hotel as well.
