Save some money and stay at Maitai, the overwater bungalows are half the price of most others on the island. They are beautiful, and the snorkeling underneath was the best we did on the island. We stayed in room five, and there was an octopus that lived underneath the bungalow, plus all the colorful tropical fish you could imagine. Cathryn Turk – Scottsdale, Arizona
It was our honeymoon. Bora Bora is arguably the most beautiful destination on the planet, and the Maitai is there. They've got the beach, the huts, the water, and access to all the restaurants and tours you need to fill an incredible week. It's probably not the most luxurious resort on the island, but it had everything we needed to enjoy the island, our honeymoon and our week. I've got no complaints.
